O Canada Part I - The Falls, The Family, and Driving Ms. Laisy
My mom's first reaction upon seeing Niagara Falls from the top was, "If you fall into the water, don't bother swimming. You're pretty much done." And they wonder where I get it from.
As you might guess, our first stop in this trip was the world-famous Niagara Falls, Ontario. I had planned some odd months ago with my mother to set aside a few days to visit the area. She had wanted to visit, partly out of nostalgia, partly to see my relatives in Toronto, and partly on a whim. It had been 20 years since my last sojourn out that way, when I was all pigtails and frills, so I said why not. Canada is lovely.

O Canada - The Prologue
Phew.
It has been a long 4 days.
As you might have guessed, I recently visited the beautiful country of Canada, specifically, the fine province of Ontario. I have a good number of extended family members in the area, and so my mom and I decided to make a brief sojourn up that-a-ways during the not-too-hot days of our summer.
Over the next few days, I'll be chronicling the trip. Normally, I'd spew it out all at once, but because I more or less just got out of the car after a 9+ hour trip, tonight, I'll just be leaving you with the promise of a few entries to come, and one other thing:
TIM HORTONS.

I have a shopping problem (and it's probably not the one you're thinking of)
Ohmigosh - two posts in a week? I must be mad! (Or I just like hearing myself type).
Anywho. I talked last time about the fact that I kind of present myself as the opposite of feminine, sometimes by choice, sometimes by accident. The problem is, I'm supremely lazy, and throughout school until even now, these have been my feelings on appearance:

PEOPLE ARE STILL GETTING PREGGERS (And so I cope with crafts and inebriation)
First - I have to apologize for, again, not keeping my promise to
update on a more regular basis. Two entries a month seems like a really
simple thing to accomplish, especially at the rate that I spew
nonsense. The issue is that, I feel inexplicably AWFUL when I don't
have a creative piece to showcase. A lot of people have told me that
they think my comics are entertaining, so that's motivating, but then
I'm just that girl who draws about life, and I think Allie Brosh
already has that arena well covered. (Seriously, if you haven't heard
of Hyperbole and a Half by now, you are missing out on the world. Go
check it out. I'll wait for you to come back. I also won't be offended
if you just stay there and forget to return.)
But enough of my wallowing.
