I've mentioned in previous posts that I was, once upon a time, a bit of a fantasy fanatic, and that I loved dressing up like a little princess.  Above all others, of course, were the Disney Princesses.  These girls were beautiful, fun, they always got the prince, and most importantly:

Hi, again.  So, I have an excuse for why February saw none of my pithy musings, but I'm holding back on sharing it until I have something substantial to write.  Needless to say, it is a very exciting point in life, so hold onto your hats a little longer.  Happy Belated Valentine's Day, by the way.

Anyway, so we have sprung into March, the rebirth of the world, and the harbinger of Spring!

I made a thing! - A Crafty Photodump

Hi!  Sorry for the lack of updates this month, but it has been a bit of a crazy time at Chez Victoire.

As of late, I've been getting very artsy-fartsy again.  I guess it was my unofficial resolution to be more serious about my crafting, particularly thanks to ... a thing... that happened... (sorry I can't be more explicit, but at the moment it's still a secret!  Don't worry; I'll share all the juicy details later).

Anyway, until I can reveal more about that, I'll reveal another big thing I've been working on, inspired by one of my favorite films:

Auld Lang Syne - 2013 in Review

I am in serious blogging debt.

As per usual, November flew out from under my feet.  While I'd like to be the Debbie-Downer and say that I was no closer to winning NaNo than I have been in previous years, that's actually quite a lie.  Despite major setbacks, I managed to wrangle 20,000 words together in the end.  30K shy of my goal, yes, but far, far better than I've done since my first mangled attempt at NaNoWriMo wordsmithing.

December has not been idle, either.  Despite the serious lack of writing, I have been nothing if not productive.  November and December saw a whirlwind of events, including the first time I totaled my car, the introduction of new acquaintances, and of course, a slew of new recipes:
